Choose the right check
Create an Aadhaar, PAN, driving-licence or RC image session. Each document type has its own server-configured price, held by the session before submission.
Read and compare
Cashfree's applicable document and record checks compare evidence with the expected details. Aadhaar requires a readable secure QR for an authoritative pass. OCR alone does not establish authenticity.
Explain the outcome
Read passing, failed and unestablished checks together. Use the evidence report to decide the next action: proceed, request a clearer document or send the case for review.

Aadhaar, PAN and driving licence
Compare identity details without treating extracted text as proof. Aadhaar accepts an optional last-four reference, not a full Aadhaar number. Optional expected PAN and licence numbers can be supplied when known.
The same face, when applicable
Link a verified face attempt from the same business and customer within the previous hour. Eligible identity-document comparison is included in the document quote; the original face attempt retains its separate charge.
Vehicle records need context
An RC can name a different registered owner. That is an ownership question for review, not automatic evidence that the applicant's identity is false. RC does not support document-to-face comparison.
Number-based RC lookup
When no usable RC image is available, choose a separately priced registration-number lookup. It returns record evidence, not uploaded-image authenticity or personal identity approval. It never runs as a hidden paid fallback.

Can Alethic compare a document chain?
Evidence reports compare bound Aadhaar, driving-licence and RC attempts for the same customer. Identity and ownership findings remain distinct. Uncertain or missing evidence needs review; the report does not automatically approve access to your application.
Does the image replace all user inputs?
The document flow still requires expected name and date of birth for identity documents, or a vehicle number for RC. Standalone OCR can help collect readable fields, but uncertain extraction needs confirmation. It does not silently trigger another paid service.
Are PUC, permit, insurance or rental checks included?
No. This API currently covers Aadhaar, PAN, driving licences and vehicle RC. Choose requirements that match the supported evidence and your own onboarding policy.

One image is one quoted document attempt. Applicable checks, including an eligible requested face comparison, are included in that document price. A processed pass, rejection or review result is charged. A clearer replacement image is a new attempt with a new quote.
