ALETHIC · POLICIES & CONTACT

Clear terms. Considered use.

The responsibilities and service boundaries for using Alethic.

The project and availability

Alethic is a community project. Use the help center and your authenticated workspace support inbox for questions about these terms. These terms describe use of the website and any Alethic service made available to you. The public website is for information and integration review; Live checks and payment collection are not open yet.

A page describing a service, an SDK example or a successful local capture does not mean your account can use a paid provider service. Availability depends on account permissions, configured pricing, activation and provider readiness. Any separately agreed written terms apply to the scope they expressly cover.

Authorized and lawful use

You must be an adult authorized to act for your business, provide accurate account information and give workspace access only to appropriate people. Protect backend API keys and private capture links. You are responsible for activity performed with your credentials and for notifying us of suspected misuse.

Give each person a clear notice about your purpose and obtain the consent or other lawful basis required before submitting their information. Submit only information you are entitled to process. Do not use Alethic for unauthorized surveillance, impersonation, harassment, unlawful discrimination, credential theft or attempts to bypass security. Do not submit a child's information through the current flow.

Read the actual result

Face presence or liveness does not by itself prove legal identity. Completing a blink or uploading a clear image is not approval. Document checks report only their supported evidence and may need human review. OCR extracts text; it does not officially verify a document or its holder. A vehicle-record lookup does not verify an uploaded image or the person presenting it.

Aadhaar image processing is not UIDAI authentication. No provider name, animation, comparison or workflow suggestion is a certificate of identity, regulatory compliance or permission to make a particular decision. Your business remains responsible for its decisions, required human review, notices and legal obligations.

Prices and prepaid service balance

When paid processing is enabled, the service provides a versioned quote in Indian rupees before submission. Each session keeps its original quoted amount. Different services and document types can have different prices. An unavailable price does not authorize a check. Only a server-confirmed payment credit establishes usable paid balance.

An attempt may reserve its quoted amount while processing. A provider-processed pass, rejection or partial extraction may be charged. A confirmed unprocessed attempt releases its original reservation without a processing charge. An uncertain outcome may remain reserved while it is reconciled. Closing a page does not cancel a submitted attempt.

Use the original request and idempotency key after a connection problem. Do not create a new paid attempt merely to check an uncertain result. A genuinely new authorized attempt is separately quoted and billable. Read the cancellation and refund policy for payment disputes and unused paid balance. No recurring subscription or automatic balance refill is offered in the current flow.

Separate Test mode and welcome grants

Test is a separate synthetic environment with separate access, keys and balance. Use fictional information. Test credits have no cash or Live value, and synthetic outcomes cannot establish real identity or provider authority.

A welcome campaign is available only when enabled and when the service records eligibility and an issued grant. Sign-up alone does not grant credit. If issued, its value is calculated from ten face checks at the grant-time price, not ten uses of every service. Promotional value is separately recorded and is not cash. Paid, promotional and Test funds must not be conflated.

Service delivery, restrictions and support

Results are delivered digitally through the available API or console. Processing duration can vary and pending outcomes can require reconciliation. There is no guaranteed response-time or uptime commitment unless separately agreed in writing. The service-delivery policy explains the current flow.

Security issues, provider outages, legal requirements or suspected misuse may require temporary restrictions. A restriction does not erase an existing charge, entitlement or record. We may ask for information needed to investigate safely. Support messages cannot approve a verification or authorize a financial change. Use the authenticated support inbox when available; no phone or call support is offered.

Privacy, intellectual property and responsibility

The privacy policy explains information, providers, retention and requests. Keep sensitive credentials and identity details out of support messages. You remain responsible for the systems you connect, the permissions you grant and copies of information you keep outside Alethic.

Alethic branding, site materials and software remain subject to their applicable rights and accompanying licences. Do not imply endorsement, certification or wider provider authority than the actual result. We make no promise that a result is error-free or appropriate for every regulated purpose. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

Questions, disputes and changes

Open a support ticket with the relevant safe request or payment reference so the project team can review a concern. These terms are governed by applicable Indian law, without removing any mandatory consumer right or legally available complaint route. No exclusive dispute forum is imposed by this page.

The updated date identifies the current version. Material changes affecting an enabled service will be communicated through an available service channel when appropriate. A policy update does not silently change the price already quoted to an existing attempt.

Need a clear answer?

Visit the help center or sign in to your workspace to open a support ticket. Include a safe request or payment reference, never passwords, API secrets, card details or full identity-document numbers. Ticket access requires a working sign-in and an available workspace.

Cookie and privacy preferences

This includes browser storage, not just cookies. No analytics or advertising trackers are installed.

Necessary Always on

Sign-in security, selected workspace, original-request and payment recovery, and this privacy choice. Turning off optional preferences does not sign you out or erase an unfinished request.

Remember light, dark or system appearance on this browser. Avoid repeating the introduction in this tab. Without permission, these choices work only in page memory.

Your choice is stored on this device for 180 days. Reopen Cookie preferences to change it. Removing optional storage here does not delete account records or sign you out of Google or other providers. Read the storage policy.
