WHAT YOU SEND
A clear starting point.
A consented camera photo, a short-lived capture session and your own opaque customer reference. Permanent API keys stay on your backend.
Face verification API
Bring consent, camera capture and provider-backed face checks into your onboarding. Give people a clear next step and your business a result it can trace.
WHAT YOU SEND
A consented camera photo, a short-lived capture session and your own opaque customer reference. Permanent API keys stay on your backend.
WHAT YOU GET
The server's verification status, applicable image-quality, face-presence and liveness checks, plus the attempt's price and billing state. Pending processing stays visible.
FROM INPUT TO ANSWER
Your backend creates a session with a recorded consent time and an exact quote. Your customer sees the capture and processing steps before continuing.
Flutter offers a one-blink prompt before taking a photo. Browser, Swift and Kotlin integrations use camera-only still-image capture, with guidance on framing and lighting.
Cashfree processes the final image. Your backend retrieves the authoritative result for the same customer and attempt, including any failed or incomplete checks.
KNOW THE DIFFERENCE
A local blink is not a server-verified video challenge. Alethic's current flow uses the provider's still-image liveness result; it does not claim certified active video liveness.
An eligible verified face attempt can be linked to a separately quoted identity-document check for the same business and customer. The document result identifies whether face comparison passed.
The camera client receives a short-lived session credential. Account access, permanent keys and private result retrieval belong on your backend.
Track a delayed or interrupted submission with its original attempt ID. A technical recovery does not become an automatic replacement paid verification.
BEFORE YOU INTEGRATE
No. Liveness and face presence are separate from a person's legal identity. A document check and its applicable face comparison provide additional evidence. Your business remains responsible for its eligibility decision.
The source integrations include Flutter for iOS and Android, a browser widget, Swift and Kotlin. Flutter supplies the one-blink guidance and 15 capture locales. Native and browser capture use image mode. Packages are currently private source integrations, with platform requirements in the integration guide.
The attempt remains queued, processing or pending reconciliation until the server establishes an outcome. Retrieve the existing attempt. Do not create a second session to retry an uncertain paid submission.
CLEAR COSTS
Each face session holds its server-issued price. A processed pass or rejection is charged once. Technical retries preserve that charge identity, and confirmed non-processing releases the reservation. Any issued welcome credit is shown separately in the Live console.
Choose the evidence your business needs, then connect the relevant services.
